YOU'RE IN BULL TROUT COUNTRY! Grande Cache is the Bull Trout Capital of Alberta. This aggressive char is a protected catch and release species in Alberta, but is abundant in our rivers and creeks. Bull trout can grow to be very large and anglers regularly measure trophy bull trout in feet instead of inches!

Grande Cache is also a fly-fishing paradise with some of Alberta's best Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, Rocky Mountain Whitefish, and Arctic Grayling action! For those who prefer a quiet day on the lake, there is excellent fishing at Grande Cache Lake, Victor Lake, Pierre Grey's Lakes, and the remote mountain setting of A La Peche Lake.
